Thanks to everyone who gave me suggestions on where to have my hair cut– I have so many places to choose from! The challenge is now to pinpoint a day that Josh will be in town to watch the boys. It sounds easy, right?

There’s so much going on in my little sphere. The quick -n- dirty update:

• my sister and her boyfriend have been staying with us while Rachel looks for a job… I’m loving it.
• we get to go see my new niece this weekend!
• last weekend Josh and I spent a few wonderful days in New York. We enjoyed Central Park, amazing restaurants, the subway, and some of the best friends one could ask for. Bliss.
• my parents are en route to their new home as I type: Texas! I’m stupidhappy that they will be so close.
• plans for the kitchen remodel are underway again; we finally settled on ceramic tile for the floor.
• Tofutti Sour Supreme is AWESOME! This is the first non-dairy sour cream substitute I’ve found that is actually edible.
• Khai is suddenly sounding out words phonetically and is -thisclose- to reading. : 0
• Battlestar Galactica is back!!! The season premiere was intense– how many hours ’til tonight’s episode?
• Max has decided that we need a factory in which to build things that we want. Like chairs, boats and buildings. Other people can pay us to create things for them. Nanotechnology, anyone? “Let’s do it! We should really have a factory!”

Time for a cup of tea while Khai and I make lists with pictures of new fruits. He just invented the ‘quitenta’.

I’m an aunt! Eve Marie was born this afternoon to my brother and his wife. A completely smitten Matt boasts that she is healthy and beautiful. :)

I need a haircut but don’t know where to go. Do any of you Dallas-area locals have recommendations? It has been over a year since I learned the woes of the $12 haircut, and I’ve been letting it grow & grow & grow. Ideally, I’m looking for someplace between Denton and Carrollton. Kthxbye!
