T is for Trivia and G is for Grouch: 35 Years of Sesame Street Trash is a trivia game that helps celebrate 35 years of Sesame Street. The spooky thing is that the people still look the same (the *real* people… not just the monsters) and I still know all of the old songs. We may have to buy this 3-disc CD set so that my poor boys can hear what the songs are really supposed to sound like.

I love Sesame Street. I have since… well… since I can remember. My boys love it, too, and I appreciate that it’s something completely safe for them to watch: I never have to worry about them hearing words like “stupid” or “shut up” like some of the shows on Nickelodeon or even the Disney Channel.

It just started raining. Must run around the house, shutting windows as I go!

I don’t give out much linkylove these days because, frankly, I just don’t get much time to rot online, discovering new and wondrous things. Metafilter and LiveJournal are just about the only sites I frequent, and that’s irregular at best. But I digress! My dahling friend Katie has pointed me in the direction of Enrique’s site, and I feel the need to share it. I give it an A+, with my only complaint being that the photos call to me and I want more of them.

The boys and I have been getting a lot of outdoor time lately– the weather has been perfect for being at the parks and playgrounds. This has also reinforced my latest hypothesis: the house stays clean when we are not in it. I think I’m on to something here. Maybe something big. I’ll let you know.

My latest creative endeavors will be posted online at some point. Rather than waiting until I have a finished product, I will probably update sporadically, stage by stage. Because I can. Look at all the power going to my head! It’s dizzying!

My focus wanes.
