Just a little late in posting this… but {{popup khai.jpg khai 640×478}}Khai is finally here! He arrived on May 15 at 7:18pm. He weighed in at 8lbs, 8.7oz and was 21 and 1/3 inches long. He has blond hair and bright blue eyes (just like his daddy!). We decided to name him Khai Daniel at the last minute– it just seemed to fit. Khai only fusses when he’s in pain, and even then it’s only a little bit. Big brother Max is adjusting amazingly well and has only had a few jealous moments so far. We feel so lucky to have two healthy, beautiful boys!
Things have been a little crazy as we’re trying to settle into a routine, and of course sleep has become a rare and precious thing. Mom was down for a little over a week, and I didn’t want to let her go home! She was such a huge help, not only with the house and Max, but also as mental and emotional support for me. (Thanks, Mom…. and thanks for letting us have her for a while, Dad!)
I need to take more pictures– Khai has changed so much already, and it hasn’t even been two weeks yet. There are several new pictures up here in both of the boys’ galleries.
Khai thinks it’s time to eat again… and then it’s time to SLEEP!
So much for updating more regularly. :) I have managed to stay on top of email a *little* bit better… that’s progress, right?
Well, as of last Thursday, I’m 3cm dilated and 80% effaced (aka: ready to pop). We’ve got an induction scheduled for May 21, but I’ll most likely deliver before then. I’m so ready!
Rachel’s senior art exhibition was last weekend in Wichita Falls (she graduated on Saturday) and I’ve got a gallery of her work here. She put together an amazing show… this girl has talent.
Must sleep now. It’s too late. I’m too pregnant.
