Found a DO nearby who refers to chiropractors– soonest appointment is next Thursday. I wonder if I’ll be able to feel my left hand at all by then? =) At least I know it will eventually get fixed….

Apparently I’m going to have to jump through flaming hoops in order to visit a chiropractor. I have to have a referral from my PCP, and I just found out today that my PCP does not “believe in” chiropractors, and thus will not refer a patient to one under any circumstance.

So tomorrow I’m going to find a new PCP (after finding one that will definitely refer me to a chiro). Yay.

We got a new DVD player that plays Mp3s. This makes me sooooo incredibly happy… We are thinking of burning DVDs full of Mp3s– that’s just a LOT of music! The DVD player lets you view directory structure and such, as well as seeing the file names– very nice feature to have.

Max is feeling better– no fever today.

I got a letter from Rachel, and it made me smile. I miss her. I wish she would hurry and get a phone.

Too much to do before Friday…… I need six of me, please. Oh yeah. There’s a LAN party starting Friday night and going until whenever on Saturday. Drop me an email if you wanna come. =)

Tooth #5 is currently forcing it’s way into Max’s poor little mouth. He doesn’t seem as bothered by this one as by previous ones– though it may just be that he’s becoming more accustomed to the pain.

I am almost sure that he said the word “duck” twice in the bathtub today– he wasn’t doing his normal babbling– this sounded like talking. Either he’s getting good at mimicking my sounds without actually putting the right consonants in there, or he actually said DUCK! I’m proud either way. =)

Lately Max is pulling up on everything he can get hold of. The coffee table, toys, bookshelves, my leg– everything is fair game. Today he pulled himself to standing on the baby gate and was up on tip-toe, trying to climb over. He is quite the daredevil. I guess he hasn’t fallen enough yet to understand the concept of fear… but I bet that’s not too far away.

I feel heavy lately. The world is just a bit much for me these days.
