Max recently had {{popup conversation.jpg conversation 571×447}}an important conversation with Mr. Octopus. He’s getting so strong– he is actually enjoying tummy-time now that he can push up with his arms. He has a bottom front tooth coming in– I can just barely see the top of it, but can definitely feel it when he chomps on my fingers. He’s been fussier than normal, but is still amazingly good-natured.

So much to do, so little time. Need to finish laundry and pack so we can hit the road soon after Josh gets off work.

We have decided to trek to Boise City for Thanksgiving… Josh gets off work at noon on Wednesday, so we won’t have to be driving during the wee hours of the morning. :)

I’m sooooooo sleepy. I don’t know why I have these bouts of insomnia, but it’s a horrible cycle. I don’t sleep at night, so I’m tired during the day. I drink caffiene in order to feel somewhat alive, which promotes the insomnia. Wash, rinse, and repeat.

Lately Max has discovered that his hands are really cool. He grabs anything within reach, looks at it, and then puts it in his mouth. He likes to pull my hair, grab my nose, and put his hands in my mouth… he has tried grabbing my eyes, but I’ve gotten good at dodging him.

Max is 27″ long, and weighs 16 pounds. The doctor says he is in perfect health, and is developmentally right on target. Yay!

It has been a busy week. I know I’ve said it before, but I just had no idea I could be this busy while being at home all the time.

Last weekend was so nice– but too short. We met Matt, Rachel, Mom, and Dad at Lake Murray in Oklahoma for a weekend of doing nothing. Uncle Mike stopped in for a short visit, as did Grandpa and Grandma. Max performed well– lots of smiles, minimum fuss-time. :)

I have lots of pictures, and I might just post them later tonight. I need to catch up on a couple of weeks’ worth of email first… there hasn’t been much time for computering lately.

MUST finish the office website for Dad, and I soooo desperately need to revamp this site. I really loathe it now… but so far I have not been willing to give up a night’s worth of sleep to redo it. Soon.

Tomorrow is Max’s four month appointment… will post his stats when I have ‘em.

OH, and Mom, I took your camera with me to Oklahoma and forgot to give it to you. You are destined to NOT have that camera in your possession.
